 Between Meral's Pool and Ward's Ferry bridge, no roads or other signs of present-day civilization penetrate the Tuolumne River canyon. The place is an Eden of pristine beaches and campsites rich in gold rush and Miwok Indian history featuring not-to-be-missed side-canyon water slides and swimming holes. Scan for bald eagles, river otter, and ring-tailed cat.
On our Classic run, raft rapids including Sunderland's Chute, Hackamack's Hole, Ram's Head, Grey's Grindstone, Hell's Kitchen and the infamous Clavey Falls, a powerful class V drop around which many prudent souls choose to walk.

" This was our second trip up to the Kings River. The staff of Whitewater Voyages outdid themselves. It was great to see many of the same guides and get to meet the new arrivals since last year. As always the staff was very nice, helpful and lots of fun to share the river and camp with. There attention to safety and professionalism made the two day trip on Kings River a great time for all. I would like to especially thank Jenny Irwin for her hard work and patience with our group. She made the trip so much fun last year that we were glad to have her as the camp host and director for this years trip. "
